Assistance needed after church today to carry up items from downstairs and bring down items from the attic for the fair, along with setting up tables in Johnson Hall. 

If you have items for the fair (limited clothing except children’s) please bring in ASAP.  There will be a work day on Monday, Nov. 13th for all workers to set up their tables.

 

Ticket books for the Theme Raffle Baskets “A Touch of Christmas Fair” Nov. 17 & 18 are available.        Thanks to all that are willing to help out.

Future’s Group is again sponsoring the Samanitan’s Purse Shoe Box Program with items for children at Christmas in third world countries.  Deadline to bring your filled box in is today: Thank you for your support.

 

John Gragg has volunteered again this year to put together the Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets.  If anyone would like to provide items for the baskets a list of what is needed is on the bulletin board.  Any monies donated will go toward purchasing the turkeys.

 

If anyone knows of a local family in need please contact John Gragg.  This info will be kept confidential.

Winthrop United Methodist Church proudly welcomes The Mt. View High School Chamber Singers “Carols in the Round” on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7:00 pm.  Free will offering and light refreshments to follow.
