Shrove (Fat) Tuesday

Shrove (Fat) Tuesday

Shrove (Fat) Tuesday, February 17th 5:30 p.m. (Postponed from February 9th) An old Christian practice to get rid of the fat and sugar in the house by serving pan cakes the night before Ash Wednesday. The object is to get ready for “Fasting of Lent”.  In many countries it is called “Mardi Gras” which mean Fat Tuesday.  This was open to Church families and friends.
