Special Easter Offering: Please use the Easter offering envelops in the pew rack to benefit our sister Church “First Baptist Church of Kittery Point, Me”. Pastor Matthew Gladd is working hard to help revitalize this small struggling Church.  They want to start some outreach ministries to their community and need funds to do so.  Visit them at

“All You Need is Love” is the title of a sermon series Pastor Jack will begin next Sunday. We will look at the different kinds of love taught in the Bible and how we can become more loving and forgiving, and how we can form, sustain and deepen our relationships.

Baked Bean & Casserole Public Supper, April 26.  Cancelled – Support the American Cancer Relay for Life Baked Bean Supper at the Fire Station.

April 28 9-12 Noon at MCC - “SHUSH! I Don’t Want to Think About It!”; there will be a program titled “Frequently asked Questions About Advance Directives” (End of life issues & decisions).  The program includes medical, legal & spiritual questions about the end of life issues.  The program is organized by the Readfield Cafe’ and the Rev. Ira Ellis.  Pastor Jack will be one of the presenters.  There is no cost.

Church Spring Cleanup Day: The Trustees have planned an all Church Spring Cleanup Day for Sunday, May 4th, immediately following morning worship.  Please wear your work clothes to Church that day and bring mops, buckets, rakes, gloves, etc.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Help us spruce up this old Church that we all love.  Rain date May 18th.

Augusta/Manchester Food Bank: Is in need of canned fruit and soup.  There is a basket at the back of the Church.

Pew Cards: Visitors, please let us know you were here by filling out the Connection Card in the pew rack.  Members, and friends, you can use the card to update contact information and alert us to any prayer needs.

May 9 – 10 MCC Spring Sale: Please clean out and bring in clean clothes, furniture, household supplies, toys, etc.  Please NO; TVs, computers, copiers, and other electronic devices.

MCC Cookbook: Please bring in your favorite recipes for a MCC Cookbook that the Future’s Group hopes to have ready for the Christmas Fair.
