Today Newcomers Lunch – at the Daniels’ 27 Bluebird Lane, Richmond 04357.  You can see Kathy for a map or follow Pastor Jack after coffee hour.             .

“All You Need is Love” is the title of a sermon series Pastor Jack begins this Sunday. We will look at the different kinds of love taught in the Bible and how we can become more loving and forgiving, and how we can form, sustain and deepen our relationships.

April 28 9-12 Noon at MCC - “SHUSH! I Don’t Want to Think About It!”; there will be a program titled “Frequently asked Questions About Advance Directives” (End of life issues & decisions).  The program includes medical, legal & spiritual questions about the end of life issues.  The program is organized by the Readfield Cafe’ and the Rev. Ira Ellis.  Pastor Jack will be one of the presenters.  There is no cost.

May 9 – 10 MCC Spring Sale: Please clean out and bring in clean clothes, furniture, household supplies, toys, children’s clothes, etc.  Please NO TVs, computers, copies, and other electronic devices.  Setup May 4th after Church and Monday, May 5th - volunteers welcome.

May 18th - Church Spring Cleanup Day: The Trustees have planned an all Church Spring Cleanup Day for Sunday, May 18th, immediately following morning worship.  Please wear your work clothes to Church that day and bring mops, buckets, rakes, gloves, etc.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Help us spruce up this old Church that we all love.  Rain date June 1st.

MCC Cookbook: Please bring in your favorite recipes for a MCC Cookbook that the Future’s Group hopes to have ready for the Christmas Fair.  You can leave your recipes in the basket on the back table in the Sanctuary. 

Church Calendar:  Please add your church events to the official calendar outside the secretary’s office (using the pen provided) to reserve the space and time you need.

Pew Cards: Visitors, please let us know you were here by filling out the Connection Card in the pew rack.  Members, and friends, you can use the card to update contact information and alert us to any prayer needs.

Prayer Vine: In order to keep the prayer vine current & manageable please let the Church office or Pastor know of names that can be removed or added

Augusta/Manchester Food Bank: Is in need of canned fruit and soup.  There is a basket at the back of the Church.



Office Hours


Pastor Jack’s office hours are Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Of course he is always available for pastoral emergencies at 508-423-0705 (cell) or 207-737-2047 (home).
