Coming Events

May 7              6:15 p.m.         Choir Practice

“All You Need is Love” is the title of a sermon series Pastor Jack began April 27th. We are looking at the different kinds of love taught in the Bible and how we can become more loving and forgiving, and how we can form, sustain and deepen our relationships.

May 9 – 10 MCC Spring Sale: Please clean out and bring in clean clothes, furniture, household supplies, toys, children’s clothes, etc.  “Home cooked food” is much needed also for the food table.  Please NO TVs, computers, copies, and other electronic devices.  Setup May 4th after Church and Monday, May 5th - volunteers welcome.

May 15th – Ladies Group meets at the Church.  Bring bag lunch, two auction items and Secret Pals information sheet if you already have it.

May 18th - Church Spring Cleanup Day: The Trustees have planned an all Church Spring Cleanup Day for Sunday, May 18th, immediately following morning worship.  Please wear your work clothes to Church that day and bring mops, buckets, rakes, gloves, etc.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Help us spruce up this old Church that we all love.  Rain date June 1st.

MCC Cookbook: Please bring in your favorite recipes, quick tips, and food related questions and answers for a MCC Cookbook that the Future’s Group hopes to have ready for the Christmas Fair.  You can leave your recipes in the Basket/recipe Box” on the back table in the Sanctuary.

Church Calendar:  Please add your church events to the official calendar outside the secretary’s office (using the pen provided) to reserve the space and time you need.

Pew Cards: Visitors, please let us know you were here by filling out the Pew Card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate.  Members, and friends, you can use the card to update information and alert us to any prayer needs.

Prayer Vine: In order to keep the prayer vine current & manageable please let the Church office or Pastor know of names that can be removed or added

To Pastor Jack & Our Friends of MCC: Bill & I would like to thank you for your prayers, flowers and visits when Bill was in the hospital.  The Lord has granted us a miracle.  As the darkness was around us at the low point of kidney failure, God was with us.  The prayers were felt and the Holy Spirit gave us strength. Your visits and cards were the high points of days and your prayers were appreciated. God is here and when we pause and listen to his whisper, he guides us daily.  When we see only the one pair of footprints you know he has you in his loving arms.  Darlene & Bill
