Chris and Jenn Blanche are members of Fayette Baptist Church in Fayette, Maine, where Chris serves as the Youth and Children's Pastor.  Chris is originally from Manchester, Maine and Jenn grew up in Fayette.  They met at New England Bible College and were married in 1999.  Jenn has been singing and leading worship since she was young and she and Chris have been leading worship in churches together for over ten years.  They seek to glorify God through Christ centered worship and encourage others to do the same. They currently reside in Jay, Maine, with their three sons, Caleb (13), Jordan (11), and Connor (9).

 

Sunday School Rally Day Sept. 7th Children will sing early in the worship service our VBS theme song “God Will Guide Us” and then go for some fun activities with their classes; refreshments, bounce house and games. Sunday School registration after church. “Welcome Back” Hope you had a good summer vacation.

 

ALPHA: A new Alpha course lead by Kathy Daniel and Alec Rogers begins on Thursday evening September 25th.  Alpha is a ten-week practical introduction to the Christian faith offered by dozens of churches in Maine and thousands of churches around the world.  To learn more, plan to attend the Alpha Dinner at MCC on Thursday, September 11th at 6:30 p.m.

BETA: is a Bible Study lead by Pastor Jack for those who have already taken Alpha.  It also will meet on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and includes dinner.  To learn more, you can contact Pastor Jack or attend the Alpha Dinner on September 11th.

 

Ladies Group: will meet at Pat VanOrman on September 11th at noon.

 

Pew Cards: Visitors, please let us know you were here by filling out the Pew Card in the pew rack and drop it in the offering plate. 

 

The Social Committee: would like to thank all who provided coffee and punch for fellowship after church this summer.
