Oct. 26 Pastor Jack’s Last Sunday; Pastor Jack has resigned and this is his last Sunday as our Pastor.  He and Kathy will be truly missed by many both young and old in this church. God bless them both.


Augusta Food Bank is asking for pasta and pasta sauce on Oct 26th. You can leave your donations in the back of the church.  Thanks

Volunteers needed for new MCC Tech Team:  Adult and teen volunteers are needed to run the sound board.  Training will be provided.  Use the white pew card to sign-up.


Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritan’s Purse charitable program which sends Christmas gifts to children in different parts of the world. The response for this project was overwhelming. The church received enough gifts to fill over thirty shoe boxes.  If anybody did not contribute but would still like to they can give a donation toward the shipping costs. (any checks should be made out to “MCC Future”)  Many thanks.


Augusta/Manchester Food Bank-Dinner and Auction on Saturday, Nov. 1st. at the Calumet Club in Augusta.  Doors open at 4:30 pm, dinner at 5:30 pm followed by a live auction.  Tickets are $25 per person or $175 per table of 8 (that means one free ticket for that table).  Tickets are available at the Manchester Town Office (be sure you tell them it is for a church table) or by seeing or calling Annette (622-6848).


John Gragg is heading up an annual Thanksgiving & Christmas Dinner Baskets; again this year John and his crew are putting together baskets and they could use your help with food items: canned veg, potatoes, carrots, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pie fillings, pie crust, pies, napkins, paper plates, etc. Donations can be left in the back of the church.  Perishable items should be brought just before delivery but please let John know ahead.




Prayer Vine

Parents and friends of Nora Birch and Cassidy Charette, both students of Messalonski High School who died tragically.  Also Connor Garland, a Messalonskee High School student who is in a Boston hospital with a broken back and jaw suffered in a tragic accident and all the students of Messalonskee High School.
