Sunday School resumes today with classes for ALL ages. 

Classes that meet during Sunday Worship Service:

·         Preschool (New), Elementary – Grades 1 – 6, Youth – Grades 7 – 12 (New)

Adult Class meets Sunday from 11:30 – 12:30

·         Come and learn tools for studying your Bible and explore God’s Word in today’s world. New students welcome.

Leaders needed for Preschool and Elementary classes.  Leaders will rotate on a monthly basis.  Training will be provided.  If you’re willing to work with our children for a month or two, speak to Cheryl.


“Supper Sign-up sheets posted” on the Future’s Group bulletin board in Johnson Hall.  The Supper is Saturday September 24th.  Can you bring in a pie, make a casserole or salad, work during the supper or help with the clean-up?  Please let us know on the sign-up board.  Many hands make for a successful event.  Thank you. 

WUMC has extended an invitation to MCC on two events coming up.  A dramatic portrayal of prolific hymn writer, Fanny Crosby on September 18th at 3:00 p.m. at the Winthrop United Methodist Church.

 And a four day trip to PA. 10-31-16 thru 11-3-16 to see “Samson” at the Sight and Sound Theater including a visit to Gettysburg on the extra day.  Estimated cost at this time is $375 - $425 with a deposit of $100 due by September 19th.  Let Deanna know if you are interested ASAP so she can give WUMC a head count.
