The Symbolic wreath on the front door (instead of flowers on the Altar-  made by Debbie Violette) represents all those on the Prayer Vine, those who need prayers now, members of our armed forces and their families and to my dad; Walter Mooers my hero.

Ladies Group will meet February 9th at 12 Noon at the Church.  Bring a bag lunch.  They will be making Valentines for special shut-ins.

“Entering the Conversation” Class is being facilitated by Bev Savage & Pastor Don.  The discussions will be based on a new kind of Christianity.  Ten questions that are transforming the faith by Brian D. McLaren will be discussed.  One question is: Who is Jesus and why is He important?  This class is for everyone.  It will include laughter, joy, prayer, fellowship, listening, new knowledge and great discussions.  The day class starts on Tuesday, Feb. 21st at 10:00 a.m. and the evening class starts Thursday, March 9th at 6:00 p.m.  Ten used books have been ordered and the price is $6.00 or you may go to Barnes and Noble and order a new book for $16.00.  Sign up after the service with Bev Savage or Pastor Don.
