North Manchester Church & Meeting House monument unveiling on May 4th at 6 p.m. on Scribner Hill Road in Manchester. The 7’ granite monument will be presented by the Baptist History Preservation Society, Rockwell, North Carolina and honors Rev. Isaac Case, one of the greatest “Church Planters” in American History. He is credited with starting over 300 Baptist Churches throughout Maine and Canada. This Meeting House was constructed in 1793. Originally located in East Readfield (Case Cemetery Rt. 17), members desired a more central location, so the Church was moved in 1839.

American Lung Assoc sponsoring “Trek across Maine” June 16th – 18th is looking for volunteers on Saturday, June 17th to support cyclists as they travel across Maine in support of the “ALA” and lung health.  See Pastor Don for Volunteer Registration Form.
