Today is Memorial Sunday:  we light candles for our loved ones who have gone on before.  You will be invited to come forth and light a candle as you speak the name(s) of your loved ones.

Youth Group will be providing a BBQ today at the Homeless Veterans residence on Hospital St following the Sunday service.  The youth as well as helpers will grill and serve burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, pasta salad and dessert.  Anyone in the congregation who would like to attend and help is welcome.

May 27th (Observed) Memorial Day:  This U.S. federal holiday is celebrated on the last Monday of May to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the military.  This church also honors all who have passed on.

Future Group would like to thank everyone who helped organize the downstairs, donated food items and supported our May 22nd sale and luncheon with your purchases which make it such a success.

June 7th and 8th MCC will hold our annual Spring Sale and Luncheon.  Please let Deanna or Joan know if you can help.  All items donated should be clean and in usable condition.  We cannot accept electronics, computers, T.V.s, etc. as they do not sell and we have to pay to discard them.    (Our motto is ‘Would you buy it?”)

“Blessings Food Basket” in Sanctuary and in the school bus shelter.  Please bring in packaged foods that will not spoil.
