No Coffee Hour “We Gather Together” We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing. He chastens and hastens His will to make known; The wicked oppressing now ceases from distressing. Sing praises to His name; He forgets not His own. “The Old Rugged Cross” On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering and shame; And I love that old cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it someday for a crown. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true, Its shame and reproach gladly bear; Then He’ll call me someday to my home far away, Where His glory forever I’ll share, So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it someday for a crown. “He Lives” I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today; I know that He is living, Whatever men may say, I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, And just the time I need Him He’s always near. He lives, (He lives), He lives, (He lives), Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way. He lives, (He lives), He lives, (He lives), salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart. “Blessings Food Basket” in the Sanctuary & across the street in the school bus shelter. Remember this important & much needed mission. .
