“We Gather Together”

We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing.

He chastens and hastens His will to make known;

The wicked oppressing now ceases from distressing.

Sing praises to His name;  He forgets not His own.

We all do extol Thee, Thou Leader triumphant,

And pray that Thou still our Defender will be.

Let Thy congregation escape tribulation;

Thy name be ever praised!  O Lord, make us free!     A-men.

“The Church’s One Foundation”

The Church’s one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord;

She is His new creation By water and the Word.

From heav’n He came and sought her To be His

holy bride; With His own blood He bought her,

And for her life He died!

Yet she on earth hath union With God the Three in One.

 And mystic sweet communion With those whose rest is won.

O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we,

Like them, the meek and lowly,

On high may dwell with Thee.     A-men

“For the Beauty of the Earth”

For the beauty of the earth, For the glory of the skies.  For the love which from our birth Over, and around us lies; Lord of all, to Thee we raise This our hymn of grateful praise.

For the joy of human love, Brother, sister, parent, child; Friends on earth and friends above; For all gentle thoughts and mild; Lord of all, to Thee we raise This our hymn of grateful praise.

For Thyself, best gift divine, To our race so freely given; For that great, great love of Thine, Pease on earth and joy in heaven; Lord of all, to Thee we raise This our hymn of grateful praise.    A-men
