Pastor:  O God, on this Sunday after Pentecost we come to You in this holy place ever mindful of Your resurrected presence and Your grace.
People:  Make us into Your people and may we worship without fear and learn to love our neighbor.
Pastor:  Help us to focus on the good news rather than the bad and to speak Your words of compassion, justice and peace.
All:  Lord, now let Your glory and presence fill this place as we celebrate Your spirit in our midst.             Amen.

We are blessed today to have as our worship leader, the Reverend Jack Daniel.  Rev. Daniel has preached at Manchester Community Church for many summers and has recently retired from a full-time pastorate in Andover, Mass.  He and his wife, Kathryn, have a home in Richmond, Maine.
 
We welcome our guest singer this morning, Roxanne Blaisdell, a friend of our Cindy MacColl. 
 
Our friend, Effie Nichols, is at Augusta Rehab. Center and is asking for visitors.  She will be there for two or three weeks.
 
Pastor Don is in the church office on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-12:00 and Fridays from 12:00-3:00 unless there is an emergency.  He can be reached anytime at 215-6838.
